Information We Collect

Profitson has no accounts. Nothing here asks you to register, sign in or supply payment details, which removes most of what a privacy policy normally has to cover.

Email the editorial address and we keep your message and address for as long as the exchange takes. It is not added to a list, because there is no list.

The server keeps an ordinary traffic record: pages requested, an approximate region derived from the connecting IP address, browser and device type, and the referring link. Read in aggregate, it tells us which explanations hold a reader and which lose one — and that is the only use it has here.

Cookies & Analytics

Cookies on this site do two ordinary jobs: keeping pages consistent as you move around, and letting analytics count visits without attaching a name to any of them. No advertising profile is built here and nothing is sold — neither would fit how the site is funded.

Your browser settings govern all of it, and blocking or clearing cookies leaves every page fully readable. The only casualty is the accuracy of our own traffic counts, which is our problem to live with.

Storage and Security

Pages are served over an encrypted connection. There is no user database behind them, no password store and no payment record, because an editorial site has no reason to hold any of those.

What does exist — server logs and aggregate analytics — is retained only while it is useful and is never shared for marketing. The most dependable way to keep visitor data safe is not to collect it, and that is the approach taken here.

Leaving for the Operator

Following a link to Sweepolis takes you off this site. From that point the operator's privacy policy applies and ours does not, including anything you enter on their platform — account details, and any identity documents supplied when a prize redemption is requested.

The habit we would suggest is the one this site applies to the operator's claims generally: read the destination's own terms before handing anything over, particularly at the verification stage.

Your Rights & Contact

Depending on your state you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, to request its deletion, or to object to how it is processed. Requests here resolve quickly for an unglamorous reason: there is very little on file and none of it carries your name.

Write to [email protected] for a data request, a correction, or anything else about this policy. The same address handles editorial corrections, which are covered on our about page.

FAQ

Is my data sold or shared?

No. Nothing is sold, rented or handed to advertisers, and no profile is assembled. Server logs and aggregate analytics are the entirety of what exists.

Do I need an account to use this site?

No. Every page is open, there is no registration and no paywall, and nothing here asks for personal details.

How do I make a data request?

Email [email protected]. Given how little is held, most requests are answered rather than processed — usually with a short explanation of exactly what the server log contains.
